Andrea Blair joins Hallam Internet as a Digital Marketing Executive, focusing on SEO strategies, Google AdWords and content marketing. Andrea has over eight years’ online marketing experience working in-house across a variety of industries including publishing, retail, management consultancy and recruitment. Following a two-year stint in Australia, she spent the last four months working at a specialist digital and IT recruitment firm in Derby where she set up their marketing department from scratch.
Andrea set out to move into a digital agency because she wanted more of a team-based learning environment. She said: “Hallam offered the best opportunity for this, a great team-based, fun culture and career development and I’m really excited to be part of such a rapidly growing award-winning agency.”
Deborah Edwards is Hallam’s new Office Administrator. She brings extensive administration skills developed in her 13 years working for Andersons Solicitors and Tektroniks. Her expertise in IT systems and website management will provide comprehensive support to Hallam’s increasingly busy consulting teams.
Deborah is happy to get back into IT and marketing after taking a break to raise her eight-year old son, Jack. She said: “I couldn’t be happier to now be working for Hallam Internet. To be able to say you’re looking forward to going back to work after the weekend has always been a goal.”
Kevin Kapezi joins Hallam Internet as a Digital Marketing Executive after working for Specsavers and NRS Healthcare. Kevin graduated in 2013 and has been focusing on developing his career in marketing ever since. After completing a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing, he became proficient in Google Analytics and consistently increased revenue month on month at record levels with effective campaigns. At Hallam, Kevin will contribute his broad range of digital marketing experience to specific areas such as search engine optimisation, pay-per-click advertising and conversion rate optimisation.
“I’m really proud to be here,” said Kevin about this new role. “Hallam has a great reputation in the UK. I’ve always had a desire to work for a top agency which follows best practice. I’m really looking forward to working with a variety of clients and industries.”
Tapiwa Munjanganja is a pay-per-click advertising specialist with over two years of experience. After graduating from the University of Worcester with BA (Hons) degree in Business, Advertising and PR in 2013, she held positions in both agency and in-house settings. Tapiwa’s experience in managing complex paid campaigns for one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups will add edge to Team Hallam’s approach.
“I am very excited to join Hallam,” Tapiwa said. “Being part of the team at Hallam means it gives me the chance not only to grow with the team, but also to develop myself more and also contribute to the company’s growth.”
Kevin and Tapiwa are originally from Zimbabwe and were pleasantly surprised to discover that about each other at Hallam. Both have shown great enthusiasm and capacity to handle difficult tasks, having already won “Employee of the week” immediately after joining.
